HCA Sweeps the Awards at Nov 2021 Fall Fest

On November 12-13, Heart of Carolina joined the Carolinas District for our first in-person festival/competition in two years. How wonderful it was to sing for a live audience again (even if we wore our masks).
Our chorus swept most of the awards over the weekend:
Our chorus swept most of the awards over the weekend:
- Mixed chorus: District mixed chorus champs, first place Plateau AA (mid-sized choruses), and overall first place of all choruses present. AND the highest scores the mixed chorus has ever received!
- Men's chorus: District men's chorus champs and first place Plateau A (small choruses)
- Soundtrack Quartet (two of whom are HCA members): District quartet champions
- Impromptu Quartet (all of whom are HCA members): District mixed quartet champions
- Resting Pitch Face Quartet (two of whom are HCA members): Novice quartet winners
