On Saturday, November 14, the Carolinas District of the Barbershop Harmony Society mounted an online District Festival, taking the place of the weekend of music and fellowship originally scheduled to take place in Asheville, North Carolina, that weekend. In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the creation of the district, Bill Adams led a project to record "When You Believe," from the animated film, Prince of Egypt.

The arrangement, by Gary Lewis, features two quartets plus a chorus, for a remarkable twelve parts in the second half of the piece. Past district champion quartets (men's, mixed, senior, and youth) from the past decade were invited to participate and were featured in the video.

We're showing it here because many members of our chorus participated. Huge kudos to Bill, and also to his wife Nicole, who created the video. Wear headphones while listening if you can; the sound is incredible!
